I WISH IT WAS LESS OF A “BRO” STORY, BUT THIS IS THE TRUTH

TO BE HONEST, I FIRST STARTED TRAINING BECAUSE MY BUDDY AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS TO BE ABLE TO DO THE “PEC POP” AMIDST A SERIOUS CONVERSATION.

I wish it was a less “bro” story, but that’s the truth.

That led me to spring 2011, when I took pre-workout for the first time.

Shit was crazy. For the next 2 hours, the homies and I hit every exercise we knew in the gym.

That day I decided to be a personal trainer… but not in the traditional sense… Online somehow (this was well before I’d ever heard of online coaching).

From there, I started diving into all of the training and nutrition information I could find. I was obsessed with learning more… it was so cool to me that I could mould my body into whatever I wanted it to be… if I could just better understood this mysterious combination of science and art that seemed to swirl around bodybuilding. 

Shortly after, I got Twitter and Instagram, and started following several science-based fitness educators/coaches. Following these guys was like watching this vague idea I had of “online fitness coaching” come to life in vivid color.

Their lives were made up of coaching clients, and researching/creating content about training and nutrition. I knew that’s exactly what I’d be doing someday.

In 2014, I started training people in person. Over the next four years, I spent thousands of hours on the gym floor, and created hundreds of pieces of content.

In 2018, I finally made the leap. I quit the gym to go all in on the online coaching company and content hub I’d been building in my head since 2011.

As our team continues to grow and reach more and more people all over the world just like you, I’m still in awe that I get to serve this amazing community.

Just like me, everyone who works with our coaching team seems to have a deep disdain for the thought of being mediocre or average.

So after a decade-long obsession with learning the science of training and nutrition, nothing brings me greater joy than simplifying the science to help people just like you realize (and accomplish) your true potential.

THERE IS NO ONE SIZE FITS ALL APPROACH TO NUTRITION OR TRAINING.

We tailor our science-based, human-centered system to every person that’s in front of us. We listen first and then design.

NUTRITION

Nutrition is a collaboration and is based on what you like to eat, when you like to eat, and how you like to eat. We take that knowledge, and then we tailor the perfect plan that gets you to your goal. And teach you how and why it works.

TRAINING

Your training should be backed by science and proven by experience. But it shouldn’t be bland or dogmatic. We don’t believe in “best” movements or rep and set schemes. We know that the best program is tailored to your unique goals, volume needs, and biomechanics.

COACHING

The job of the coach is to get you to where they want to go. Our aim as coaches is to always over-deliver through education, attention to detail and build a genuine relationship with you. We don’t just prescribe, we teach the reason behind the movements and protocols we  prescribe for you.

TRACKING

Ever heard the saying “If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing?” It’s 100% true when it comes to changing your physique. Daily accountability and tracking for your macros, movement, sleep, recovery scores, body measurements, progress pictures, and much more ensure you progress and GET RESULTS!
